To meet the growing demand for cross-border travel and international exchanges, Capital Airlines, a subsidiary of the New HNA Aviation Group, has officially announced the launch of a direct international route from Beijing Daxing to Lisbon, Portugal, starting June 22, 2026. This new route marks Capital Airlines' second intercontinental service to the Portuguese capital following its existing Hangzhou–Lisbon route, and it is also the first direct flight from Beijing Daxing Airport to Lisbon. The new route will further enhance the air network between the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region and Europe, building a more convenient and efficient air bridge for economic and trade cooperation, cultural and tourism exchanges, and people-to-people connectivity between China and Portugal.
