At 08:12 Beijing Time on May 16, Hainan Airlines flight HU7923 from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport to Kuala Lumpur took off smoothly, marking the official launch of Hainan Airlines' Chongqing–Kuala Lumpur international route. The new route offers passengers more convenient and diverse travel options to passengers from/to Malaysia, helps promote exchanges and economic cooperation between the two destinations, and injects new vitality into the friendly relations between Chongqing and Kuala Lumpur.
The Hainan Airlines Chongqing–Kuala Lumpur direct international route is planned to operate one round trip per day. The outbound flight departs Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 08:05 Beijing Time and arrives at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 13:05 local time. The return flight departs Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 14:15 local time and arrives at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 19:15 Beijing Time.
