On July 28, Chengdu Airlines Flight EU2813 took off smoothly from Hohhot Airport, marking the official launch of the direct international service connecting Hohhot and Vladivostok. The route creates an aerial gateway linking Inner Mongolia directly with the Russian Far East and adds a new destination to Hohhot Airport's international network.
Operated by Chengdu Airlines under flight numbers EU2813/14, the service runs every Tuesday and Saturday. The outbound flight departs from Hohhot at 13:55 and arrives in Vladivostok at 16:30. The return flight leaves Vladivostok at 17:35 and lands in Hohhot at 20:25.
As the administrative centre of Russia's Primorsky Krai, Vladivostok is the largest port city in the Russian Far East, as well as a regional hub for economy, culture, science and education. Both Hohhot and Vladivostok serve as key pivot cities under the Belt and Road Initiative cooperation framework. The launch of this route further improves the layout of Hohhot as a regional international aviation hub, expands air access for opening-up towards the Russian Far East, and builds a two-way air corridor connecting the two regions.
