Following the launch of its Shanghai-Ho Chi Minh City route, Vietnam's Sun PhuQuoc Airways will launch a daily direct service between Shanghai and Hanoi, Vietnam, starting November 27. This will be the airline's fourth route connecting Chinese mainland with Vietnam. Shanghai will also become the first destination in Chinese mainland from which the airline operates direct flights to both Hanoi, the Vietnamese capital, and Ho Chi Minh City.

The Shanghai-Hanoi route will be operated daily using Airbus A321neo aircraft. Flight 9G674 will depart from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 23:05 and arrive at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 03:00 the following day. Flight 9G675 will depart from Shanghai at 04:15 and arrive in Hanoi at 06:55 (all times are local).
