China Aviation Supplies Co., Ltd. (namely Aviation Supplies Sharing Platform Company) was officially established in Beijing on October 18. The new company, approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, was created from a restructuring of China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group by China Southern Air Holding Company, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China Eastern Air Holding Company, China Aviation Supplies Holding Company and China Reform Holdings Corporation Ltd. The objective of the company is optimizing resource allocation across the industry and innovating management model of the supply chain based on data sharing and internet technology, so as to create a new aviation supplies support system for civil aviation in China.

Stakeholders include China Southern Air Holding Company, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China Eastern Air Holding Company, China Aviation Supplies Holding Company and China Reform Holdings Corporation Ltd, and their respective shares in the company are 24%, 23%, 22%, 21% and 10%. Aviation Supplies Sharing Platform Company, aiming to improve quality and efficacy of all stakeholders, will pursue market operation and focus on the business of managing surplus aviation supplies, guaranteeing expendable parts and sharing circulating parts. At the preliminary stage of operation, the Company will mainly serve central state-owned aviation enterprises, and constantly improve effectiveness and liquidity of aviation supply assets and vigorously promote innovation in aviation supply supporting model through establishing the “internet plus aviation supplies sharing” supporting and operating system. It will gradually expand its business to the whole industry and the global market, and strive to become a world leading aviation support service provider.
