On May 3, CAAC held a work meeting in Xiamen to make comprehensive arrangement for safe air transport support for the BRICS Meeting 2017. CAAC Deputy Administrator Li Jian and Wang Huimin, Vice Governor of Fujian Province, attended and addressed the meeting.

After being debriefed on the activities regarding the BRICS Meeting taken by CAAC East Regional Administration, Xiamen Safety Supervision and Management Bureau, Aviation Security Branch of Xiamen Airport, Xiamen International Airport and Xiamen Airlines, Li Jian fully recognized their work in this regard.

It is learned that in order to ensure success in the provision of safe air transport support for the BRICS Meeting, CAAC has developed the Program for Providing Safe Air Transport Support for the 9th BRICS Summit which identifies the general approach, objectives, organization and leadership structure, duties and division of tasks for different phases.
