To further enhance work safety awareness, promote the implementation of principal responsibility for workplace safety by all entities, comprehensively improve the capability of all people of ensuring work safety, and effectively prevent and deter the occurrences of major or serious accidents, CAAC has decided to launch a nationwide “Work Safety Month” campaign across the industry in June.

In the Notice on Carrying out the 2017 Nationwide “Work Safety Month” Campaign (hereinafter referred to as “Notice”) issued by CAAC recently, a detailed plan was contained with regard to the nationwide “Work Safety Month” campaign, including the general approach, organization, main tasks and related requirements.

The Notice states that the “Work Safety Month” campaign to be rolled out across the civil aviation industry this year will be themed with “promoting the implementation of primary responsibility for workplace safety by all enterprises”, and will include a range of awareness raising activities on such aspects as development through reform, supervision and enforcement, accident prevention, credit system building and knowledge of safety regulations, so as to drive the implementation of principal responsibility for workplace safety by enterprises and build a consensus across the whole society on the need to uphold the concept of safe development and support safe work, thus laying a solid ideological foundation for the continued safe and steady development of the civil aviation industry.
