The Annual Conference of Human Resource Management (HRM) Experts of Civil Aviation Industry 2017 was held in Beijing on November 22. With the theme of “Exploiting Full Advantages of Human Resources and Making Contributions to the Building of China into a Country with a Strong Civil Aviation Industry”, the conference gathered nearly 90 experts from CAAC, airlines, airports, ATM entities, aviation fuel companies, aviation supplies, educational institutions, research institutes and the HR sector. They had thorough discussions upon civil aviation talents management and experts base building in 2018.

Civil Aviation HRM Experts Base, founded by CAAC’s Department of Personnel, Science and Technology and Education this January, represents a high-level think tank of civil aviation human resources. CAAC Human Resource Development Center is responsible for its management. Since its founding, the base has established its management and operation systems, conducted a number of research projects and obtained some research results in such fields as civil aviation HR strategic planning, salary and performance management, talents selection and cultivation and employee relationship management. At the conference, experts, based on research results of the previous year, reported their findings of five human resource research projects.
