The Second Videophone Conference of National Civil Aviation Team Building Commendation & Experience Exchange was held in Beijing on December 5. A total of ten teams, including the Rainbow Team of ground service from Air China Zhejiang Branch, were awarded the honorary title of the Most Influential Civil Aviation Team. A total of 190 teams including Weixiao Team from Ordos Airport Group were granted the honorary title of the Model Civil Aviation Team. Secretary of All-China Federation of Trade Unions Zhang Maohua and CAAC Administrator Feng Zhenglin attended the conference and presented prizes to these teams. CAAC Deputy Administrator and Chairman of National Civil Aviation Trade Union Dong Zhiyi presided over the conference and announced the commendation list.

Feng Zhenglin expressed sincere appreciation for the long-term and strong support and guidance for civil aviation from All-China Federation of Trade Union. He gave his warm congratulations to the 200 excellent teams and his cordial greetings to all civil aviation staff members nationwide. He said that the conference, guided by Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, represents an event to implement the guiding principles of the 19th National CPC Conference, a major achievement of the mass organization reform conducted by the National Civil Aviation Trade Union, and a demonstration of civil aviation system’s achievement in team building over the past five years.

Feng stressed that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era and the principal contradiction in Chinese society has some new changes, which has not only offered new opportunities for civil aviation development, but also posed new challenges and higher requirements for civil aviation. Team building is essential for the sustained and sound development of civil aviation which calls for joint efforts from all related parties. He asked the whole industry to further enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency and fully understand that team building is vital to ensuring civil aviation safety, realizing corporate development strategy, building a civil aviation power and also advancing the all-round development of staff members.

Six excellent teams including the Rainbow Team of ground service from Air China Zhejiang Branch, Anjie Team of security screening and safeguard from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Yunlong Team of technical support from Hainan Air Traffic Management Sub-bureau, engine maintenance team of Pudong Maintenance Base from China Eastern Airlines Technology Company, A320 Wings of Dream Team of Guangzhou Flight Division from China Southern Airlines and the mobile application of Umetrip team from TravelSky, and two representatives from trade unions of China Southern Airlines and Beijing Capital International Airport shared their experience in team building at the conference.

All officials of CAAC, CAAC Regional Administrations, and CAAC Safety Supervision and Management Bureaus, major chiefs and trade union chairmen of civil aviation institutions in Beijing, labor union officials and employee representatives from airlines and airports participated in the conference at the main meeting venue and branch venues respectively.
