On January 4, CAAC Deputy Administrator Dong Zhiyi led an inspection team to the Capital Airport Holding Company. During the inspection, the team visited the operation control center, T3E-T2 APM tunnel in the flight zone, and T3 baggage sorting area at the Beijing Capital International Airport to inspect operation support work, and listened to reports from the Capital Airport Holding Company on the special action on “ensuring safety and improving service”, Beijing New Airport construction, Capital Airport functioning improvement, FOD system building and support for HUD operation at airport.

After listening to the reports, Dong Zhiyi commended the company’s achievements and put forward requirements for their future work. He pointed out that the just-concluded National Civil Aviation Work Conference and the Aviation Safety Work Conference made scientific and strategic planning on building a civil aviation power for the new era. The Capital Airport Holding Company should, under the guidance of President Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the instructions of the 19th CPC National Congress, conscientiously carry out the strategic deployment for building a civil aviation power in the new era and CAAC’s General Work Thought, benchmark against the world’s first-class airports, endeavor to build the standard system of “safe, green, smart and cultural” airport, and contribute to the building of a civil aviation power in the new era by deepening reform, improving efficiency, and advancing high-quality development.
