On February 8, CAAC Deputy Administrator Dong Zhiyi met with a delegation led by Mao Chaofeng, Executive Vice Governor of Hainan Province in Beijing. The two parties exchanged in-depth views on further enhancing development of civil aviation in Hainan Province.

It is understood that the movements throughout Hainan Province reached 279 100 in 2017, with a year-on-year growth of 12.3%; the passenger traffic was 42.34 million, with a year-on-year increase of 16.1%; cargo and mail throughput stood at 240 000 tons, with a year-on-year growth of 3.4%.
