CAAC Administrator Feng Zhenglin met with Mayor of Chongqing Municipality Tang Liangzhi and his associates in Beijing on March 2. The two sides exchanged views upon further promoting the development of civil aviation in Chongqing. CAAC Deputy Administrator Wang Zhiqing and Vice Mayor of Chongqing Lu Kehua attended the meeting.

In 2017, the passenger and cargo & mail handled at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport reached 38.715 million persons and 113,000 tons respectively, ranking the ninth and the eleventh in the whole country. At present, in China’s central and western areas, Jiangbei Airport is the first airport with three terminals and three runways operating simultaneously. The airport serves 287 routes, including 69 international and regional ones.
