On March 6, Deputy Administrator of CAAC Wang Zhiqing met with Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Fei Zhirong and his party in Beijing. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on further promoting the development of civil aviation in Guangxi.

Currently there are seven airports in operation in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 2017, the airports together handled 24.776 million passengers, 146,000 tons of cargo & mail, and 300,000 aircraft movements. The passenger traffic had a year-on-year growth of 19.9%, higher than the national average level.
