In order to accelerate construction of Beijing New Airport, CAAC and Hebei Provincial Government held a work meeting on Beijing New Airport construction in Langfang of Hebei Province on April 10. CAAC Deputy Administrator Dong Zhiyi and Vice Governor of Hebei Province Zhang Gujiang attended the meeting.

At the meeting, participants reported progress of Beijing New Airport construction and operation preparations, had thorough discussions on key construction issues of Beijing New Airport project in Hebei region, and specified solutions, responsible departments, work mechanisms and time frame for relevant issues. Persons in charge from relevant CAAC departments, relevant civil aviation institutions, departments of Hebei Provincial Government and Langfang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government attended the meeting.
