On April 15, 2018, Changsha-Beijing flight CA1350 was diverted to land at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport after a male passenger held a flight attendant hostage.

At 13:17, the incident was successfully handled, and passengers and crew members on board were all safe. After investigation, it was verified that the male passenger threatened the crew member with a fountain pen.
