By July 25, all 44 involved foreign airlines had amended their website references to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan with 40 having taken complete measures. Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) recognized the efforts by relevant foreign airlines to respect the One China policy and carry out timely rectifications. United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Hawaiian Airlines have submitted rectification reports to CAAC on July 25, indicating the references subject to rectification are being amended and requesting CAAC to audit their websites two weeks thereafter. It is confirmed by CAAC that changes are being made in their website references, but the measures taken were incomplete. CAAC will closely watching the following developments, and decide as appropriate whether to initiate corresponding civil aviation management procedures.
