On 27 August, the Chinese civil aviation delegation led by Wang Zhiqing, Vice Administrator of Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), paid a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and held talks with Transport Ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina on initiating negotiations on air transport agreement between the two governments, establishing air links between the two countries and conducting technical cooperation. And the two sides signed minutes of talks.

The two parties agreed to strengthen practical cooperation in fields of civil aviation under the China and Central and Eastern Europe Countries “16+1” framework. The two governments will give positive consideration to unscheduled flights operated by air carriers of the two countries before they sign formal air services agreement. The signing of the minutes of the talks filled the gap in cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Europe countries, creating conditions for further reinforcing air connectivity between China and the region.

Chinese ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Chen Bo also attended the talks.
