On September 27, CAAC will hold a promotion conference to encourage private investment in civil aviation. Supporting projects of Beijing Daxing International Airport and the construction projects of New Hohhot Airport will be introduced to the public to attract private capital investment, and to push forward supply side structural reform and high quality development of civil aviation.

On August 22, CAAC and National Development and Reform Commission issued a List of Civil Aviation Projects to Encourage Private Investment, which includes 11 private investment projects that have already confirmed private investors and 17 intended private investment projects. The holding of this promotion conference will promote the implementation of this list and push forward the orderly development of these projects. The conference will focus on the promotion of supporting projects of Beijing Daxing International Airport, the construction projects of New Hohhot Airport, the mixed ownership reform of freight logistics of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China, the reconstruction and expansion projects of Taizhou Airport, the circulation base of import and export commodities in Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, the general aviation operation and aircraft maintenance projects of Sichuan, the informationized aviation logistics and settlement projects of China TravelSky, the aviation rescue platform of China Aviation Supplies Holding Company, the demonstration zone of civil aviation science and technology innovation, the training and support base of civil aviation emergency rescue, airborne ground-air broadband communication system, the flight validation system of unmanned aircraft, etc., to attract private capital.

It is reported that during the promotion conference, a signing ceremony of projects that have already confirmed private investors will be held. NDRC, CAAC, CAAC Regional Administrations, relevant departments and associations, sponsors of the promotion projects and invited private investors will participate in the promotion conference.
