On October 25, the 2nd Joint Conference on Civil Aviation Operation Data Sharing was held in Beijing to accelerate the sharing of civil aviation operation data and boost building of smart civil aviation. The plaque of Civil Aviation Operation Data Center of China was unveiled during the conference. CAAC Deputy Administrator Wang Zhiqing attended the meeting and emphasized that the civil aviation guideline instructed by President Xi should be fully studied and carried out. The sense of responsibility in data sharing should be enhanced; and the goal of accurate analysis, fine management, precise supervision, and cordial service should be achieved faster, so as to achieve greater results in data-sharing.
Wang Zhiqing indicated that since the first Joint Conference on Operation Data Sharing was held in September 2017 and with 23 civil aviation units having signed the Agreement on Operation Data Sharing of Chinese Civil Aviation, in-depth and large-scale data sharing has been unfolded, and a data sharing and service platform established, which have promoted the application of shared data, improved the hardware and achieved practical results. The volume of shared data kept growing, and the data service capability enhanced continuously. Civil aviation operation data has been playing an increasingly important role in building a strong civil aviation industry.
During the conference, the plaque of Civil Aviation Operation Data Center of China was unveiled. Relying on the existing resources of the Operational Supervision and Control Center, the Center will carry out management and application of operation data. The unveiling represents a new chapter and a milestone of operation data management.
