On December 12, 2018, CAAC Administrator Feng Zhenglin and Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of Ecuador Jose Valencia signed Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation and Technical Assistance between Civil Aviation Administration of China and Civil Aviation Authority of Republic of Ecuador (MOU) in Beijing, witnessed by President Xi Jinping of China and President Moreno of Ecuador. The MOU establishes a mechanism for cooperation and exchanges between the civil aviation authorities of the two countries and identified contents and ways of cooperation between the two sides.
