On December 18, CAAC Deputy Administrator Dong Zhiyi met with Executive Deputy Governor of Hunan Province Chen Xiangqun and his associates in Beijing. The two sides exchanged, in an in-depth way, views on further promoting the development of civil aviation in Hunan.

From January to November this year, in Hunan Province, the total passenger traffic, cargo and mail throughput, and aircraft movements reached 27.973 million, 145,000 tons and 322,000, with year-on-year increases of 13.2%, 12.4% and 20.3% respectively; the regularity of flight release stood at 86.38%, increasing by 6.3% over that of the previous year which reflected a steady growth.
