On the afternoon of December 19, CAAC Deputy Administrator Lyu Erxue, leading a working group, inspected aviation security work at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport.

During the inspection, Lyu Erxue visited the Airport Operation Control (AOC) Center and the AOC Security Screening Control Office of Baiyun Airport and learned more about various modules including AOC Core Command, Area Management, Flight Support, Professional Support, Airlines, and resident entities, and operations of modern technological information equipment such as the enhanced panoramic video surveillance system and the multi-touch command set. Lyu Erxue pointed out that as an important platform for exploring the innovation of the control mode of large-scale airports, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Operation Control Center has integrated and applied modern scientific and technological means which effectively strengthened the overall management and control of airport operations, more scientifically managed the operation resources and improved the efficiency and quality of airport operations which is quite worth sharing with others.
