During the holiday of Spring Festival in 2019 (February 4 to 10), civil aviation operated safely, smoothly and orderly, registering a total traffic of 111,000 flights and 12.58 million passengers, up by 6% and 10.6% respectively year on year. The average passenger load factor was about 86% and the national flight regularity rate was 83.31%, which fully met the travel demand of passengers.
According to other data, during the Spring Festival holiday of 2019, the Consumer Affairs Center of CAAC accepted 142 consumer complaints, increasing by 10 complaints, or 7.58% compared with last year. Among those complaints, 134 were about airlines and 8 about airports. The Center also accepted 47 consultations, decreasing by 43 complaints or 47.78% year on year. The complaints mainly focused on the cancellation of flights due to weather factors and the subsequent arrangements after flight delays or cancellations.
