As of March 1, the 2019 Spring Festival air transport officially ended. During the 40 days of the travel rush (January 21-March 1), civil aviation transported a total of 72.82 million passengers, increasing by 11.4% compared with the previous year, becoming the fastest growing means of transport; a total of 6,651,260,000 flights were operated nationwide, increasing by 6.32% year-on-year; the average flight regularity rate of domestic passenger flights was about 80.42%, increasing by 0.34% year-on-year, ensuring safe, smooth and orderly air transport, which fully met passengers’ travel demand.
