On March 12, Hu Zucai, Vice Director of National Development and Reform Commission and Head of Leading Group for Beijing New Airport Construction, visited Beijing Daxing International Airport for inspection, during which he listened to report on airport construction and operation preparations and instructed coordination for problems therein. CAAC Deputy Administrator Dong Zhiyi also attended the inspection.

By the end of February, major construction projects of Beijing Daxing International Airport have been successively completed; as for projects of air field, the four runways have finished inspection flight. In terms of terminal projects, surface decoration installation has completed 98%, refined decoration, 91% (excluding shops) and electromechanical equipment installation, 96%. Regarding municipal transport projects, project of overpass structure and pavement in and out airport have been completed, so do the main road within the airport which has been open to traffic, the structure of the comprehensive pipe gallery and the gas surge station, and the water supply station has been checked and accepted by five parties.
