CAAC and National Health Commission Issue Implementation Program for Joint Pilot Work on Aviation Medical Rescue06/05/2019

In order to give full play to the role of general aviation in the field of medical rescue, and enhance the aviation medical rescue system and promote capacity building, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the National Health Commission jointly issued the “Implementation Program for Joint Pilot Work on Aviation Medical Rescue” (hereinafter referred to as the “Program”) on March 19, deciding to launch the joint pilot work on aviation medical rescue in 12 provinces (municipalities) from now on to December 31, 2020.

The 12 provinces (municipalities) of Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hubei, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan and Shaanxi were selected to conduct the pilot work. CAAC and the National Health Commission encouraged medical institutions in non-pilot regions to continue to extensively carry out aviation medical rescue business based on the practical situations during the pilot period, and will put forward suggestions on improving related work.
