On April 16 to 17, the 12th Cross-Strait Seminar on Flight Technology and Flight Safety was held in Nanjing. More than 140 cross-strait representatives gathered together to discuss flight technology, safety, exchanges and cooperation surrounding the theme of "Safeguarding the Bottom Line of Safety and Providing Good Flight Service". CAAC Deputy Administrator Li Jian presented the Seminar and delivered speech. Representatives from the Department of Economy of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the Office of Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Affairs of CAAC, the Department of Flight Standard, the Office of Aviation Safety, the North Regional Administration of CAAC, airlines and aviation safety technical institutions from the two sides attended the seminar.
