On the afternoon of March 6, Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council, inspected Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs. Based on big data analysis, Premier Li listened to the report on the overall coordination and organization efforts for the smooth movement of international and domestic passenger and cargo traffic, and the implementation of border-related epidemic prevention and control measures. Premier Li stressed that BCIA represents the “national gate”, thus it must take effective and safe prevention and control measures, and implement an area-specific, multi-level and categorized health monitoring approach, so as to ensure the orderly and safe flow of incoming and outgoing passengers.
