The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the General Administration of Customs (GACC) signed a memorandum of cooperation.

On July 30, CAAC and GACC signed a Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation in Facilitating Customs Clearance at Airports in Beijing. CAAC Administrator Feng Zhenglin and GACC Minister Ni Yuefeng signed the memorandum on behalf of the two sides respectively. Lyu Erxue, CAAC Deputy Administration, Zhang Jiwen, GACC Vice Minister, and Huang Guansheng, CPC Committee member of GACC, attended the signing ceremony.

As per the memorandum, CAAC and GACC will focus on advancing strategic cooperation in the following key areas, to further advance their respective high-quality development: building a publicly accessible aviation logistics information platform, innovating customs clearance practices in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, improving customs clearance services at airport clusters, developing a universally applicable policy governing international through flights, promoting coordinated airports development, and establishing a mechanism for consultation and information-sharing among airports.
