Seminar on the Operation and Management of Civil Airports Held in Beijing11/01/2021

On December 29, a webinar on the operation and management of civil airports was held in Beijing to solicit comments and suggestions from the industry on the revision of the Regulations on Civil Airport Management (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations), which aims to reinforce the positioning of airports as public infrastructures, build a coordinated, orderly and fair operation platform, and to find out the fair and efficient mode of airport operation and management that best suits China’s national conditions.

The Regulations was drafted based on the Civil Aviation Law of the People’s Republic of China, and was officially published on April 13, 2009. The purpose of the Regulations was to standardize the construction and management of civil airports, actively and steadily promote airport development and ensure their safe and orderly operation, as well as safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties concerned. The Regulations contains 87 articles in 6 chapters.
