Recently, in order to enhance civil aviation connectivity, connection and operation efficiency, comprehensively improve transit services and passenger transit experience, CAAC issued the Guide on the Implementation of Facilitation Services for Transit Air Passengers (the Guide). The Guide is designed to promote facilitation services for transit passengers in China, with detailed provisions on passenger service, luggage service, handling of irregular flights, etc.

It is learned that, subsequently, CAAC will develop and issue supplementary normative documents and supporting policies such as Administrative Rules for Through Flights to continuously improve the standardization of facilitation services for transit passengers, and increase access to luggage through cheeck service and through flights.
