Recently, CAAC issued the Report on the Development of Paperless Air Travel in China, which provides a comprehensive picture of the efforts made by CAAC in recent years to promote paperless travel and the achievements that have been registered, and discusses the prospects for future development. According to the Report, from 2019 to 2020, 570 million passengers enjoyed paperless travel, resulting in a reduction of 580 million hours in travel time.
