On July 6, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee held a group interview on “Aiming High for Better Air Travel Experience”, attended by Liu Chuanjian, Deputy Chief Pilot of Sichuan Airlines; Yang Jingxuan, Senior Manager of the First Section of Flight Attendant Management, Cabin Service Department, Air China; Kong Yue, Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member of Beijing Daxing International Airport; Wu Na, Party Branch Secretary of Security Department, Passenger Inspection Division 1, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Shanghai Airport Authority and concurrently chief of “Wu Na Model Worker Creative Studio”; Du Yize, team leader of flight flow office of Operation Management Center, ATMB, CAAC. At the group interview, the five representatives of CPC members answered questions raised by Chinese and foreign journalists.

Of the five representatives, one betrayed no fear in the face of cockpit right windshield explosion, ensuring safety of the lives of 119 passengers and 9 crew members; one provides thoughtful and warm services for passengers; one works tirelessly for the construction and operation of the airport; one holds the pass of the security line with acute vision for passengers; and one commands the safe, orderly, and efficient operation of every aircraft. The five representatives shared their experiences each as captain, chief flight attendant, airport manager, security inspector and air controller. In addition to sharing their stories about “Aiming High for Better Air Travel Experience”, they also talked about the accomplishments regarding national civil aviation development under the strong leadership of the CPC. They bear in mind the Party tenets along with the principle of “civil aviation development for the people”, stick to the bottom line of the flight safety and thoughtful services, vigorously promote and put into practice the ethics of modern civil aviation and the China Civil Aviation Hero Crew, providing safe, efficient and convenient travel service. Thus, people’s ever-growing demand for better air travel is constantly accommodated.
