On July 29-30, the Symposium on Civil Aviation Overseas-Related Rule of Law was held in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, at which the International Aviation Law Research Alliance was officially established. With the theme of “Building the Overseas-Related Legal System in Civil Aviation”, the Symposium aimed to ensure the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, strengthen the strategic efforts of overseas-related rule of law in civil aviation, thus securing more say and influence over international affairs. The Symposium, serving to build China into a civil aviation powerhouse in an all-round way and better safeguard China’s sovereignty, security and development interests, contributed its part to improve global civil aviation governance. CAAC Chief Engineer Yin Shijun and Huang Jiefang, Director of Legal Affairs and External Relations Bureau of ICAO, attended the symposium and addressed the opening ceremony.
