In order to conscientiously act upon the guiding principles of President Xi Jinping's important instructions on civil aviation, implement major decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on civil aviation safety, and promote the building of work style of personnel engaged in civil aviation safety, CAAC recently issued Guidance on Promoting a Long-term Mechanism for Building of Work Style of Personnel Engaged in Civil Aviation Safety (hereinafter referred to as the Guidance). The Guidance laid down the building of long-term mechanism for work style in safety should adhere to seven basic principles and focus on six mechanisms to earnestly promote the continuous and in-depth development of work style of personnel engaged in safety with "keeping reverence for life, for regulation and for duty" as its core, so as to further make work style building more scientific, systematic and standardized, thus providing a strong support for the safe development of civil aviation.

The Guidance is a detailed refinement of the Guideline on Promoting the Building of Work Style of Personnel Engaged in Civil Aviation Safety issued in March 2021, which proposed specific requirements for establishing and improving the above long-term mechanism for the production and operation entities and a supervision mechanism for the administrative authorities in civil aviation.
