The National Day holiday in 2021 witnessed overall safe and stable civil aviation operation in China. From October 1 to 7, airports recorded a passenger traffic of 9.3 million, with the flight regularity rate exceeding 93%.

According to statistics, during the National Day holiday (From October 1 to 7), 9.29 million passengers were transported by air, with an average of 1.327 million per day, down by 19.6% from 2020. The average passenger load factor was 73.7%, down 4.8 percentage points year on year. The actual number of flights nationwide reached 90,663, with an average of 12,952 per day, down by 11.27% from 2020. The flight regularity rate stood at 93.35%, 1.42 percentage points lower than that of 2020.

During the National Day holiday in 2021, all entities of civil aviation strictly implemented the overall plan and a series of specific requirements by CAAC on holiday-time transportation, enhanced the capacity of busy routes, and continued to earnestly implement the arrangements of joint prevention and control, ensuring the safe and smooth travel of passengers.
