Under the joint prevention and control mechanism of the State Council, a press conference was held on December 18 to illustrate science-based and targeted COVID-19 prevention and control measures during New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival. Han Guangzu, Director General of the Department of Flight Standard, CAAC, indicated at the press conference that during New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival, all civil aviation entities need to keep a close eye on domestic epidemic development and assist in verifying passengers’ Health Code and negative results in nucleic acid tests, according to the prevention and control requirements set by governments from both origin and destination countries. Civil aviation entities providing services for inbound passengers are required to continue to strengthen the control of key links and earnestly guard against imported cases. At the same time, CAAC will better allocate transport resources so as to improve travel services for passengers and ensure flight regularity during New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival.
