On December 31, CAAC Leading Group on Building Intelligent Civil Aviation held the second session to summarize the work done in this regard during 2021, evaluate the current situation, identify major tasks, and lay out plans for the next step. CAAC Administrator Feng Zhenglin attended and addressed the meeting, while Deputy Administrators Dong Zhiyi and Lyu Erxue attended the meeting and set up requirements for the special working groups. The meeting was presided over by Dong Zhiyi, with presence of members from the Leading Group and all special working groups.

At the meeting, the 2021 annual work reports from all special working groups under the Leading Group got reviewed. Through deliberation, a series of documents were approved, including the Roadmap for Building Intelligent Civil Aviation, the Plan for the Construction and Application of 5G Broadband Mobile Communication System on the Airport Surface, and the Working Plan for Building Intelligent Civil Aviation in 2022.
