On January 21, according to the thematic press conference on building of intelligent civil aviation, CAAC officially released the Implementing Plan for Applying 5G AeroMACS (the Implementing Plan), marking a start of 5G application across the civil aviation industry. As the first specific guideline on application of 5G aeronautical communication technology, the Implementing Plan identified the development path and key tasks of 5G AeroMACS, so as to promote its full implementation, thereby laying an important foundation for infrastructure construction of intelligent civil aviation.
