On the afternoon of January 26, a working group led by Cui Xiaofeng, Deputy Administrator of CAAC, made a tour of the Capital Airport to supervise and direct onsite security and pandemic prevention and control for Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The group inspected the building for special airplanes, TOCC and Bureau of Aviation Security of Capital Airport respectively in a bid to learn about the support for special and charter flights, aviation security, operation control, support for flights related to the Winter Games, pandemic prevention and control as well as closed-loop management, and the preliminary work carried out by the entities concerned was fully recognized. Cui stressed that civil aviation represents not only the first stop of the whole support for the Winter Games but also their last stop; and the entities concerned shall devote themselves to various kinds of support for the Winter Games on the basis of valuable lessons learned from the test events of the Winter Games and major support activities of the past.
