On February 18, CAAC issued circuit-breaker orders, suspending Flight CA404 (Singapore to Chengdu) by Air China and Flight MU568 (Singapore to Shanghai) by China Eastern Airlines.

According to CAAC, five cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Flight CA404 (Singapore to Chengdu) by Air China entering China on February 9. Considering Flight CA767/8 (Singapore to Hangzhou) is the award flight of Flight CA404, starting from February 28, Flight CA404 will be suspended for 2 weeks, and Flight CA767/8 will be cancelled. Five cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Flight MU568 (Singapore to Shanghai) by China Eastern Airlines flight entering China on February 10. Considering Flight MU2069/70 (Singapore to Xi’an) is the award flight of Flight MU568, starting from February 28, Flight MU2069/70 will be suspended for 2 weeks, and Flight MU2069/70 will be cancelled. The quota for the above-mentioned flights shall not be transferred to other routes.
