On March 4, Liu Fang, Member of the Party Group of CAAC, led a team to inspect the Aviation Safety Experimental Base at China Academy of Civil Aviation Science and Technology (CAST). She stressed that CAST should fully implement the decisions and arrangements by the Central Party Committee, State Council and CAAC Party Group. CAST should give full play to its role as the main force in scientific and technological innovation and strengthen the internationalization of China’s civil aviation industry. By acting as a think tank that enhances China’s participation in international civil aviation governance, the academy will contribute to the high-quality development of civil aviation and embrace the successful convening of the 20th National People’s Congress with outstanding progress.

At the experimental base, Liu Fang inquired about the overall situation, visited the Baggage and Cargo Security Inspection Laboratory, Anechoic Room, Package Testing Laboratory, Flammable Solid Laboratory, Passenger Security Inspection Channel Simulation Laboratory, and New Security Technology Laboratory, Circular Tower and Flight Simulator and listened to related work reports.
