Recently, in order to implement the strategic deployment of building the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle by the central government, CAAC, after careful study and extensive consultation with Chongqing and Sichuan Province, issued the Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Chengdu-Chongqing World-class Airport Cluster (the guiding opinions). The document identifies the guiding principles, the main target and measures in five aspects for the development of Chengdu-Chongqing World-class Airport Cluster. It focuses on supporting the level-4 development of China’s civil aviation industry.
