CAAC Issues Circuit-breaker Orders for Multiple Inbound Flights30/03/2022

On March 21 and 22, CAAC issued circuit-breaker orders for multiple flights. These flights are: Malaysia Airlines MH376 (Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou) which arrived on March 7; Asiana Airlines OZ303 (Seoul to Changchun) which arrived on March 8; Jeju Air 7C8501 (Seoul to Weihai), Iraqi Airways IA473 (Baghdad to Guangzhou), Philippine Airlines PR314 (Manila to Tianjin) and Shenzhen Airlines ZH9032 (Seoul to Shenzhen) which arrived on March 9; Asiana Airlines OZ323 (Seoul to Chengdu), China Southern Airlines CZ3062 (Seoul to Guangzhou) and China Southern Airlines CZ628 (Tokyo to Shenyang) which arrived on March 10; Air France AF382 (Paris to Tianjin), Kuwait Airways KU419 (Kuwait to Guangzhou), Neos Air NO946 (Milan to Tianjin), Shandong Airlines SC4088 (Seoul to Qingdao), China Eastern Airlines MU5042 (Seoul to Shanghai), and Air China CA124 (Seoul to Beijing) which arrived on March 11; China Southern Airlines CZ308 (Amsterdam to Guangzhou) which arrived on March 12; and China Southern Airlines CZ3070 (Ho Chi Minh City to Guangzhou) which arrived on March 13 and Qingdao Airlines QW9902 (Seoul to Qingdao) which respectively arrived on March 12 and 13.

As per CAAC’s requirement, the frequency quota for the above-mentioned flights shall not be transferred to other routes. Airlines involved should provide reassurance and other services such as ticket change and refund for passengers of the suspended flights.
