Recently, the “Special Plan for Passenger Services of Air Transport during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period” (the plan) was formally issued by CAAC. In order to push for the smooth implementation of the plan, CAAC will launch an 8-month thematic event of “Civil Aviation Service Planning Implementation Year” from May 1, which aims to promote the high-quality development of civil aviation services.

The purpose of the theme event is to, under the premise of safety, innovate service products, optimize service processes, improve travel experience and accelerate the building of China’s civil aviation service brand. The objectives include the orderly implementation of the special plan; flight regularity rate at above 80% for domestic passenger airlines throughout the year; concrete results in important service measures for the public; improved capacity and level of service quality management; more service products with brand influence; and enhanced passenger service experience.
