On May 14, CAAC issued a circuit-breaker order for Flight MU772 (Amsterdam to Chengdu) by China Eastern Airlines.

According to CAAC, six cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Flight MU772 which entered China on May 3. Starting from May 23, the flight will be suspended for 2 weeks. The quota for the flight shall not be transferred to other routes.

CAAC requires China Eastern Airlines to provide reassurance and other services such as ticket change and refund for passengers of the suspended flight.
