On May 23, CAAC issued circuit-breaker orders for Flight PR314 (Manila to Tianjin) by Philippine Airlines, Flight CZ328 (Los Angeles to Guangzhou) by China Southern Airlines, Flight MF806 (Vancouver to Xiamen) by Xiamen Airlines and Flight CA998 (Vancouver to Zhengzhou) by Air China.

The quota for the above-mentioned flights shall not be transferred to other routes. CAAC requires the four airlines to provide reassurance and other services such as ticket change and refund for passengers of the suspended flights.
