On May 26, CAAC issued circuit-breaker orders for Flight KE831 (Seoul to Shenyang) by Korean Air, Flight MH376 (Kuala Lumpur to Guangzhou) by Malaysia Airlines, and Flight CA988 (Los Angeles to Tianjin) by Air China.

The quota for the above-mentioned flights shall not be transferred to other routes. CAAC requires the three airlines to provide reassurance and other services such as ticket change and refund for passengers of the suspended flights.
