During the 2022 Hunan (International) General Aviation Industry Expo, the First International Forum on UAM Development & eVTOL Technology was held in Changsha on September 2. Liu Fang attended and addressed the forum.

The forum was held in line with the guidelines released by the State Council on developing comprehensive transport network with a focus on developing intelligent transport while making the existing transport facilities more intelligent. The forum aims to build an international platform for high-level exchanges on UAM to make good use of the new opportunities for general aviation development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, promote further development of UAM and explore ways to build a more convenient and safer UAM system, improve standards and regulations on eVTOL and promote the innovation-driven development of eVTOL. Around 500 representatives from domestic and global eVTOL manufacturers, UAM operators, aviation companies, scientific research institutes and media presented at the forum and had in-depth discussions on the innovation-driven development of UAM and other topics.
