CAAC organized the Second Exam for Senior Civil Aviation Inspectors on September 16 with the aim of enhancing the qualification and competence of civil aviation inspectors by carrying out the assessment and selection of senior civil aviation inspectors in a proactive manner. More than 400 civil aviation inspectors took the exam.

Civil aviation inspectors serve as administrative law enforcement officials in civil aviation administrative organs. The First Exam for Senior Civil Aviation Inspectors was held by CAAC in 2021. Presently there are 118 senior inspectors specializing in 12 areas, including aviation safety, air transport, flight standards, airports, airworthiness, air traffic management, aviation security and general affairs.
